SOPFEU - Fire Map
This map displays the status of active and extinguished fires in the province of Quebec. It allows visitors to track down the areas where fire danger is at its highest. Destroyed and restricted areas are mapped in a way that enables all citizens to monitor the status of their properties. At first, this map was developed by Poly9, thereafter we rebuilt it in python and optimized it using a tiling system built over Mapnik.
